Abstract / Full Text

Imino derivatives of salicylic aldehyde and a N-vinylpyrrolidone/N-vinylamine containing 15 mol % N-vinyl salicylidenimine were synthesized. Water-soluble metal—polymer complexes with a gallium content of 5 mol % were obtained by the interaction of imino derivatives with gallium(III) chloride. The structure and composition of the metal—polymer complex are confirmed by electron, vibrational, atomic emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma, and by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
