Abstract / Full Text

Gold nanoparticles with regular morphology and excellent monodispersion were prepared in oleylamine (OLA) via solvothermal method using HAuCl4 as the gold source and OLA-Ag ligand as the reducing agent. The size range of gold nanoparticles was limited to within 10–15 nm by regulating the reaction time and reaction temperature. On this basis, gold nanoparticles with a nanotwin structure were prepared successfully by reasonably setting the temperature and time of the gradient. These characteristics lay a good foundation for studies on monatomic catalysts and offer a feasible way to establish the dependent relationship between nanotwin structure and catalytic activity center.
