Abstract / Full Text

Heats of dissolution of β-aminobutyric acid in water and aqueous solutions of potassium hydroxide at 298.15 K are measured via direct calorimetry. Standard enthalpies of formation of the amino acid and products of its dissociation in the aqueous solution are calculated.
