Abstract / Full Text

The nature of the elastic-plastic strain invariant is considered. It is shown that the absolute values of the invariant obtained in experiments obey the normal distribution. The contributions of the scale and velocity factors to the invariant value are studied. The independence of the invariant on the temperature is established.
