Abstract / Full Text

Polymer composites were produced by modifying polytetrafluoroethylene with oxyfluoride glass of composition 18CaF2–31SiO2–19B2O3–24BaO–8TiO2. The thermal stability of the developed composites was studied, and the thermomechanical parameters were determined. The introduction of an oxyfluoride filler into polytetrafluoroethylene contributes to the stability of the composite at elevated temperatures and provides an increase in the storage modulus by 50–65% compared to the original polytetrafluoroethylene.
