Abstract / Full Text
The possibility of 1-phenylethylamine synthesis by electrochemical reduction of acetophenoneoxime in a tripotassium ortho-phosphate solution at lead and zinc cathodes is shown. The yield of 1-phenyleth-ylamine by substance is 80% when the concentration of acetophenone oxime in the solution is 8 wt %, and thecurrent density is no more than 0.12 A/cm2, and a temperature is 30°C. The method of cathode activation byintroducing zinc complex compounds into catholyte is developed. A variant of the permanent electrosynthesisof 1-phenylethylamine is proposed.
