Abstract / Full Text

A synthetic approach to the modification of the drug Edaravone with pharmacoactive moieties of adamantane, carbazole, tetrahydrocarbazole, and γ-carboline was proposed. The approach is based on copper-catalyzed alkyne-azide 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of azido-containing pharmacophores with bis(propargyl)-containing pyrazolone.
